Power failures hit multiple healthcare facilities in Gaza after backup generators ran out of lubricant oil and diesel. The Gaza Health Ministry reported the shutdowns on Sept. 13, noting that several systems stopped operating across the territory, which disrupted electrical availability for medical care.

The outages were caused by a shortage of fuel and critical spare parts needed for equipment maintenance. Reports from the health ministry and IRIB News confirmed that the lack of these essential supplies led to the loss of power at the hospitals.
