Six ballistic missiles were intercepted by the Saudi-led coalition during a series of raids by Yemen's Ansarallah movement on Thursday. The Houthis launched ballistic and cruise missiles and drones at an Aramco facility in Yanbu and a target in Riyadh, and struck military positions in Jazan's Al-Tawal camps with dozens of projectiles. While Saudi Arabia intercepted threats over Taif and Yanbu using systems including those operated by Greek forces, the Houthis claim the Jazan operation killed and wounded hundreds of personnel.

Brent crude futures rose above $107 per barrel, an increase of approximately $4 and more than 5%, as the strikes hit critical energy and military hubs. The movement targeted the Tabuk region for the first time and triggered danger alerts in Mecca and Jeddah before the threats passed. In response to the instability, France is preparing to deploy soldiers and air defense systems to protect the oil infrastructure at Yanbu.
