Saudi Arabia placed its capital and al-Kharj under danger warnings twice overnight on Sept 19 following reported missile and drone strikes by Yemen's Houthis. These air raid alerts in Riyadh triggered flight holding patterns at Riyadh International Airport and marked the first time the capital faced such warnings during the current escalation. The Saudi Civil Defense issued an all-clear for both cities after a second wave of threats passed.

The aerial campaign spanned several other governorates, including Jeddah, Taif, Yanbu, AlUla, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, Abha, and Farasan. This operation occurred on day 203 of the conflict, representing a geographic expansion of the Houthi strike campaign's reach into the Saudi heartland.
