Israeli airstrikes targeting vehicles in the Gaza Strip killed 4 high-ranking figures from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Ahmad al-Batash, the commander of Hamas's Jabalia Battalion in the North Gaza Brigade, died in a strike north of Gaza City. Other targets included Mohsen Farid Said Abu Hadaf, a PIJ rocket squad commander, and Hamas's Rafat Abu Zamar, a company commander in the operations division.

A separate strike in Gaza City killed Muhammad Khader Fahmi Aghour, a Hamas operative involved in weapons production. The Israel Defense Forces claim the leaders were restoring capabilities in "systematic violation of the ceasefire." Military records link Abu Hadaf to the October 7, 2023, raid on the Kissufim area and Abu Zamar to the training of operatives prior to the onslaught. The strikes took place between last week and late Monday night.
