An Israeli man in his 30s died after a Palestinian gunman opened fire on bathers at a natural spring near the West Bank settlement of Neve Tzuf. The victim was inside his car during the attack and was transported to Beilinson Hospital in serious condition before police declared his death. A preliminary army investigation found the attacker opened fire from a vehicle and then fled the scene on foot while armed.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir ordered additional troops to the Halamish area to locate the gunman following a security assessment. Special forces, drones, and Israeli Air Force aircraft are conducting scans of the region. The military has established roadblocks and launched a pursuit to apprehend the suspect.
