A wave of missile and drone attacks hit multiple Ukrainian cities on Sunday night, causing casualties in both the capital and the northeast. Russian forces deployed Geran-2/4 drones in Chuhuiv and Andriivka, S8000 Banderol cruise missiles near Balakliya, and MLRS rockets in Izyum. These strikes, which also included KAB glide-bombs on Kharkiv, wounded at least 22 people, including eight children, while four others were injured in Kyiv.

The assault continues a concentrated aerial campaign against Kyiv that began on Aug. 27, which was only briefly paused during a US delegation's visit on Sept. 6. These latest attacks occurred less than 24 hours after separate Russian strikes across Ukraine killed eight people.
