President Trump's senior cabinet officials gathered privately on Friday to coordinate military and diplomatic strategies in the Middle East. The unannounced session at Camp David focused on planning next steps for the war in Iran and the Saudi-Houthi conflict in Yemen, according to three U.S. officials who reported the huddle lasted for several hours.

This meeting marks the first time since June 2025 that the administration has convened top national security aides for an undisclosed retreat. That previous gathering occurred only days before the start of military hostilities between Israel and Iran.
