Other diplomatic initiatives to end the broader war in Ukraine exist, though Fidan stated it appears difficult for those efforts to produce lasting results at this stage. Turkish officials maintain that diplomatic work to reach a comprehensive settlement must continue despite current obstacles to a permanent peace.
