Interceptor missiles and large-caliber artillery shells are part of a new military aid shipment from Britain to help Ukraine repel Russian strikes. The UK government committed £100 million ($135 million) to the shipment, which includes missiles for Patriot systems and drones identified as priority needs through NATO's PURL initiative.

The equipment is intended to arrive before winter to bolster air defense capabilities. This Tuesday announcement complements a broader pledge by Britain to supply more than 120,000 drones to Ukraine this year, of which 25,000 units have already been delivered.
