The Army Air Defense Force utilized domestically produced systems in southeastern Iran that operate under the country's integrated air-defense network, per the army's public relations office.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) identified the aircraft as an Israeli-made UAV. State media outlets, including IRIB News and the semi-official Fars news agency, reported the strike on Sunday evening as a success for the domestic defense network.
