Iranian National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei stated Saturday that Tehran is awaiting a response from President Donald Trump after delivering terms to end the war through mediators in Qatar and Pakistan. The requirements for negotiation include ending the conflict on all fronts, releasing frozen Iranian funds, and lifting the naval blockade.

Rezaei told Al Jazeera that Iran is prepared for a decisive war and has recently tested an anti-ship missile near a US aircraft carrier. Tehran shifted its strategy toward Washington following the US withdrawal from a memorandum of understanding, and Rezaei claims that the US military possesses vulnerabilities that Iran is ready to counter.
