The US dismissed the claim that an advanced drone was seized, labeling the assertion 'clearly desperate.' This is the second US underwater vehicle Iran has reported taking in three weeks, following an Anduril Dive-LD recovered on September 8. While Washington stated the Dive-LD had malfunctioned, the IRGC asserts that the REMUS 600 was seized during a coordinated electronic-warfare operation and remains fully available for reverse engineering.
