At least 27 people were injured on September 25 when a sequence of Russian drone strikes targeted warehouses and offices throughout Ukraine's capital. Four people were killed at a single office site and a total of five died across the city, according to the Kyiv Post. The attacks caused fires at warehouses used by McDonald's and destroyed the offices of internet provider Datagroup and the Inkom business center.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the strikes targeted American and other international businesses to undermine civilian connectivity and work. Russia also struck the Eskaro Swedish paint factory in Odesa during the operation. Zelenskyy called for a coordinated global response using sanctions and long-range military capabilities to impose concrete consequences on the Kremlin.
