A fire consuming more than 1,000 sq m erupted at a fuel processing facility on Sept 26 after a series of drone impacts. The Ilsky refinery, which processes 130,000 barrels per day, ceased operations after FP-1 drones hit its tank farm and three primary crude units, data from Fire Point shows. This marks at least the ninth time in a year that the site—one of Russia's largest independent refineries—has been targeted, while regional authorities in Krasnodar reported three civilian deaths and two injuries during the raid.

In a simultaneous operation, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Navy used Neptune cruise missiles and jet drones to strike the Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant in the Rostov region. The facility, which produces optics and radar components for Russian missiles and artillery, suffered damage to its foundry and assembly shops. Ukraine also reported destroying fuel railcars and a Pantsir-S2 air defense system, with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stating the attacks were a direct response to strikes on Ukrainian civilians.
