Ukrainian drones ignited a large fire at the flight line of Taganrog Airbase around 3 AM on Sept. 7. President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed targeted attacks on oil refineries in the Perm and Tatarstan regions, while a drone strike in Perm killed one person and injured four others after hitting an apartment building. Governor Dmitry Makhonin reported 27 drones shot down over the Perm region, and TASS news agency reported minor damage to an industrial facility in Tatarstan.

Russia launched simultaneous overnight strikes on Odesa and Zaporizhzhia, where a shopping center attack caused six fires covering 700 square meters. The Russian Ministry of Defence claimed successful hits on the Mavka dry cargo vessel at Chornomorsk Port and a loading complex at Izmail Port used for unloading Western military cargo. The MoD also stated a Ukrainian Navy patrol boat was targeted.
