During a Sunday meeting in Oman, Houthi representatives promised to avoid attacking US or Israeli vessels and reaffirmed their commitment to a 2025 ceasefire. The group explicitly stated they would continue to target Saudi-owned ships. US officials reportedly agreed not to strike targets in Houthi territories or provide air support to Saudi forces in exchange for keeping the Bab al-Mandeb shipping lanes open to international traffic.
