The conflict cost the US $33.4 billion through June 30, with $22.3 billion spent on expended munitions, $3.7 billion on equipment losses, and $7.4 billion on other expenditures. This total excludes infrastructure repairs and certain replacement costs.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and President Donald Trump previously denied reports that the US was running low on munitions. Former Air Forces Central commander Lt. Gen. Derek France said the operation exposed gaps in munitions logistics, long range air domain awareness, and base survivability, noting that US forces struck more than 13,000 targets while Iran launched over 1,500 ballistic missiles and 6,000 drones.
