Fury and Vengeance drones have arrived at Creech Air Force Base in Nevada to begin operational experimentation. These 2 Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA), produced by Anduril and General Atomics, will be used to determine how semi-autonomous systems integrate with crewed fighter jets in future combat missions.

The US Air Force is training small teams to launch these aircraft from rough, scattered airstrips instead of fixed bases. This deployment shift follows Iranian missile attacks that damaged Gulf bases over the last 7 months, creating damage that officials say will take decades to repair. Secretary Troy Meink stated that putting the aircraft in the hands of Airmen allows the military to build the operational future of the program and avoid risking assets at locations where $20,000 drones can reach them.
