1 US Pulls Aircraft Carriers From Iran Blockade After Missile Attack ⚔️ War Sep 25, 10:12 AM EDT 10/10
Sentinel-2 satellite imagery reveals that the USS George H.W. Bush, the USS George Washington, and the USS Boxer have left the CENTCOM area of operations. The US Navy has withdrawn from a naval blockade line at the exit of the Gulf of Oman that was active until August, repositioning ships beyond the reach of Iranian weaponry following a missile strike on September 5. The attack utilized Qasem Basir anti-ship ballistic missiles, which have a range of about 1,200 km and can cover nearly the entire Arabian Sea.
Iran's SNSC chief Rezaei stated on September 12 that no US warships remain in the Persian Gulf, a decrease from around 30 vessels prior to the attack. All US ships are now maintaining a distance of at least 400 km from the Iranian coast. Although independent imagery did not initially confirm the Iranian claims, the latest satellite data now supports the pullback of the aircraft carriers and their escorting destroyers.
