One suspect accused of supplying ammunition for the cell worked as a confidential informant for Germany's domestic intelligence agency. An indictment cited by the newspaper WELT states the man reported to the agency while concealing or downplaying his own role in obtaining ammunition for the Hamas network to evade detection by the state.
