Anthropic Plans $518B Decade Compute Spend in IPO FilingPVT:ANTHSPCX

Anthropic expects 80% of its projected spending on computing infrastructure to be non-cancelable over the next 10 years. Documents in the company's IPO filing reveal a total planned compute expenditure of $518B through the end of the decade, which includes expanded agreements to pay SpaceX up to $84.5B for Nvidia-based computing capacity through 2029.

The SpaceX contract nearly doubles the $45B in potential spending the aerospace company previously disclosed and extends a May agreement that required payments of $1.25B per month for 3 years. While the long-term expenditure remains high, most of the specific agreements with SpaceX can be canceled with 90 days' notice.
