1 Saudi Raises East-West Pipeline Oil Flows to Nearly 6 Million BPD 🛢️ Commodity Sep 26, 4:17 AM EDT 136/56
Saudi Arabia has increased East-West pipeline flows to nearly 6 million BPD from about 5.5 million BPD earlier this week, leaving about 4.5 million BPD available for export from the Red Sea. The line is running at more than 80% of its 7 million BPD capacity, while reduced deliveries to domestic refineries have pushed volumes available for export to wartime highs.
The pipeline carries crude from Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province to the Red Sea coast, bypassing the Strait of Hormuz. Exports resumed after repairs following drone strikes in September. TankerTrackers identified nearly 10 million barrels of crude being loaded at Yanbu and Al Muajjiz in European Space Agency satellite imagery from Sept. 27.
Total Saudi crude loadings from both coasts reached about 6.4 million BPD last week, above the 2025 pre-conflict average of 5.4 million BPD, Kpler energy reporter Amena Bakr said. Oil analyst Rory Johnston also found total loadings above prewar levels but cautioned, "I don't expect that this will continue at this pace for long".
