Three commodity vessels traversed the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday, based on preliminary ship-tracking data reported by Reuters on Thursday. The number of daily transits decreased from 12 on Tuesday and remained below the 10 day average of approximately 17 commodity ships.

The totals exclude vessels that may have switched off their Automatic Identification System transponders to avoid detection during the crossing. These figures track visible commodity shipments through the waterway based on active AIS signals.
