Onchain prediction market protocol Trueo is shifting its operations from Base to the Ethereum mainnet to capture technical synergies and growth. The transition prioritizes the mainnet's integration potential and product upside, a move Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin welcomed by praising the protocol's focus on decentralization.

Buterin described Trueo as a strong prediction market contender that remains ethical and "not corposlop" in its design. The migration to the L1 environment targets a higher level of decentralization and aims to facilitate more meaningful applications of economic primitives through direct interaction with the primary blockchain.
