Aaron Rowe, Lukas Graham and Finneas have withdrawn from Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour following the dismissal of rapper Macklemore. The remaining opening acts quit the international tour on September 15 in solidarity with the rapper, who was removed from U.S. dates after making onstage comments supporting Palestine.

The mass exodus follows claims that stadium owners and promoters pressured Sheeran to drop Macklemore after his speech at MetLife Stadium. Aaron Rowe said he would not allow billionaires to use their position of power to silence voices speaking against Israeli genocide. The removal of the supporting lineup has left the stadium tour in crisis after the internal geopolitical dispute.
