Gideon Sa’ar and Nasser Bourita reached an agreement to expand the scale of diplomatic relations between Israel and Morocco. The two nations will appoint ambassadors and transition their current missions into full embassies following a summit in New York hosted by U.S. UN Ambassador Mike Waltz. This arrangement also prompts the reinstatement of direct flights and includes several high-level visits in the coming months.

Investment and tax agreements will be finalized by the end of 2026 to broaden economic cooperation. The trilateral talks in New York intended to push the Abraham Accords forward through a joint framework involving the United States and the two governments to deepen bilateral ties.
