The Royal Saudi Air Force launched a new wave of attacks on the Houthi-controlled capital of Yemen, targeting the Jabal Attan and Al-Nahdain areas in Sanaa. These strikes, which also hit a telecommunications tower in Saada, were met by Houthi air defenses engaging Saudi fighter aircraft. The operation represents the second time this week that Saudi jets have targeted the Yemeni capital.

The escalation follows Houthi attacks on Riyadh and a projectile that hit a school in Najran, while missile debris wounded one resident in Ahad Rafidah. Analysts warn that bombing Sanaa crosses a hard red line for the Houthis, which may trigger further retaliation against Saudi oil infrastructure and Riyadh.
