Shrapnel from a ballistic missile struck a person in the town of Ahad Rafidah after being intercepted by Saudi air defenses, civil defense officials reported. The attack in the southern Asir region also damaged a prayer room and several vehicles, marking the latest in a series of strikes that including a Houthi projectile hitting a school in Najran and explosions in Riyadh. The Saudi-led coalition intercepted and destroyed 3 additional ballistic missiles targeted at Khamis Mushait as part of the current flare-up.

Saudi warplanes launched 94 airstrikes and missiles over the last 24 hours in Yemeni governorates including Sanaa and Taiz, bringing the total of coalition attacks to 1,350 since the escalation began. Amid the conflict, the World Food Programme warns that 75% of households in accessible government-held areas of Yemen lack sufficient food as disrupted supply lines and mass displacement worsen a hunger crisis.
