The networking capabilities of colocation provider DreamLine were compromised over the weekend following a series of Russian drone strikes in Kyiv. Metrics from NetBlocks show that the bombardment caused immediate disruptions to the provider's network, as the Russian military continues a systemic effort to disable the digital hubs of the Ukrainian capital. The Russian Ministry of Defense claims these targets are used for networking, database storage, or facilitating Starlink communications for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The nearly 3 week campaign has utilized Geran-4 and Geran-5 jet drones to strike 11 data centers, 10 of which are in Kyiv and one in Dnipro. Previous hits on providers including Datagroup, Cosmonova, Omega Telecom, and the mobile operator Kyivstar knocked multiple television channels offline and disrupted internet access for approximately 100,000 residents of Kyiv. Local reports indicate these outages have limited the ability of civilians to receive critical emergency information.
