Ukrainian emergency crews spent Tuesday repairing power and water outages caused by a wide scale Russian assault on utilities. The death toll in and around the capital has increased to at least four people, including a child, as Moscow continues a weeks long campaign of bombardment on the city. Residential homes, a warehouse, and a supermarket in Ivankovychi were among the sites hit on September 30.

The raid utilized nearly 190 attack drones and ballistic missiles to target energy grids, leaving at least five people dead and 14 others injured across the country, including victims in Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, and Kirovohrad. Moscow confirmed the strikes but denied targeting civilians. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy praised recent international air defense support and called for further missile deliveries to protect the nation's power infrastructure before winter.
