Overhead imagery published by the Russian military depicts a Geran-5 strike on the Inkom business center in Kyiv on Sept. 25, filmed live by a separate UAV. The second drone, either a Gerbera UAV or a jet-powered Shahed, orbited approximately 3 km away to provide real-time battle damage assessment (BDA) of the impact, which killed 4 people and destroyed Datagroup infrastructure. After completing its observation of the office block, the filming drone left the city center and struck a McDonald's logistics warehouse in Brovary.

The operation is part of a wave of daytime strikes that killed 5 people and injured at least 27 across the capital. President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia is expanding its attacks to target internet providers, data centers, and American businesses to disrupt ordinary life. The hit on the logistics facility may cause supply disruptions for the fast-food chain in Ukraine, which permanently exited the Russian market in May 2022.
