Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi warned that the country could face a total collapse of digital connectivity following recent drone attacks on critical infrastructure. The Ukrainian government is preparing for a worst case scenario where both internet and mobile services are severed, as a wave of strikes has already left hundreds of thousands of subscribers without access to networks.

Russia has targeted 11 data centers, including 10 in Kyiv and one in Dnipro, over a nearly three week campaign. The strikes utilized Geran-4 and Geran-5 jet drones from the 'Varyag' unit against facilities operated by Kyivstar, Cosmonova, Datagroup, Omega Telecom, and DreamLine. While the Russian Ministry of Defense claims these hubs facilitate military database storage or Starlink communications, the attacks have knocked multiple television channels offline and hindered the delivery of emergency information to civilians.
